Wrt modesty, I'd say th...Interesting analysis! Wrt modesty, I'd say that that is entirely a matter of which areas of the body are revealed by the ripped clothing. If the rips are not immodest, then it simply becomes a question of appropriateness. A slovenly appearance may be fine when you're washing the car or doing yardwork; totally repulsive at a wedding, and mildly so when doing your shopping. Etc.
