Homosexual Ideology, Satanic Pride

Written by Luiz Sérgio Solimeo

June 11, 2011 saw one more parade to glorify the vice of homosexuality. Dubbed, Europride or Eurogaypride, it was held in Rome, once known as the Eternal City, the center of Catholicism. The expression, “homosexual pride” summarizes the essence of the homosexual ideology. Let us see how.
Pride and revolt against God
Sin is a revolt against the order established by God and, therefore, a revolt against the Creator Himself. The more this revolt becomes manifest, the greater is the sin.
Man can sin out of weakness and feel shame for his sin and desire to make amends; or he can sin with special malice and take pride in his sin. In this case, revolt against the Creator becomes more manifest; for, as Saint Thomas says, “[it] is characteristic of pride to be unwilling to be subject to any superior, and especially to God.”[1]

For this reason, the holy Doctor presents “pride or self-love as the beginning of every evil.”[2] According to Scripture, "pride is the beginning of all sin."[3]
Pride, the sin of Lucifer
Theologians commonly believe that the sin of Lucifer and of the evil angels was one of pride. Indeed, having no physical body, they could not be carried away by concupiscence as with man. Therefore, their sin had to be one of the spirit.
Two passages from Scripture are usually mentioned to describe this sin. The first is from Isaias:
How have you fallen from the heavens, O morning star [Lucifer],[4] son of the dawn! How are you cut down to the ground, you who mowed down the nations! You said in your heart: "I will scale the heavens; Above the stars of God I will set up my throne; I will take my seat on the Mount of Assembly, in the recesses of the North. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will be like the Most High!"[5]
The second is from Prophet Jeremias:
Long ago you broke your yoke, you tore off your bonds, and you said: I will not serve.[6]

The homosexual ideology’s Luciferian pride
To take pride in practicing the homosexual vice and to proclaim this in public in the streets and squares of the world’s leading cities is a sin of the spirit, a challenge to the Law of God. It is a denial of reality as such and an adhesion to a utopia and to a pathological fantasy.
It is a manifestation of Lucifer’s pride and a repetition of his desperate cry of revolt, “I will not serve.”
Hatred of the Catholic Church
Let us return to Rome’s “Europride.” Italian newspapers and Internet blogs published hundreds of photos from the march. What stands out most—even more than the wild display of lust and the semi-naked bodies and obscene postures and gestures—is the hatred shown against the Catholic Church.
A homosexual sacrilegiously presented himself posing as Our Lord Jesus Christ in dark glasses.
The offenses against the Sovereign Pontiff could not be more vile: a large banner at the front of the march showed a photomontage depicting the Pope with woman’s hair, wearing socks and skimpy lingerie. Below, the words, “[She] wears Prada but is a friend of Satan.”7]

Another banner showed a cartoon of Benedict XVI wearing a Nazi medal, holding a crosier with the Nazi symbol, and below the words, “Nazinger [Nazi+Ratzinger] attacks gays.” Another banner read, “Ratzinger, love your neighbor but not as Hitler.” And yet another, “Real Hell: The Vatican, mental Guantanamo.”
Many homosexuals dressed up as bishops or priests in a ridiculous and debauched manner.
Destruction of the notion of good and evil
During the parade, the denial of all morality came across not just through the general in-your-face sexual license but also in scenes such as that reported on under the title, “Rome’s Europride amid Angels, Devils and Spouses,” by Italy’s ANSA News Agency. It carried a picture of two men kissing, one dressed as a devil, with horns and a trident and the other like a good angel, with white wings and halo.[8]

The kissing “devil” and “angel” aptly represent the ultimate goal of the homosexual ideology: the complete denial of the difference between good and evil, right and wrong. Freed from morals and reason, man’s will shall become the only rule; good will simply mean what gives pleasure to our instincts and senses; and evil, anything that crosses us.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil”
Does this not remind us of the Prophet Sophonias and his rebuke to those “that say in their hearts: The Lord will not do good, nor will he do evil"?[9]

Unto them is the warning of the Prophet Isaias: "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness."[10]

Here is
where the satanic pride of the homosexual ideology leads us: it transforms light into darkness and darkness into light and wants to impose this darkness on the world, through the dictatorship of law and the propaganda coming from liberal media.

Protest now! Jerry Springer Opera in California

Catholics are encouraged to send an instant e-protest message to the Chance Center in Anaheim, California – because they’re showing the Southern California premiere of Jerry Springer: The Opera, which is full of profanity, nudity and blasphemous content. Some examples are:
  • The crucifixion is mocked and the Eucharist is trashed.
  • There is a lady singing “Jerry eleison.” (mocking the Mass: Kyrie Eleison)
  • Jesus is introduced as “the hypocrite son of the fascist tyrant on high.” He wears a diaper, is fat and effeminate and later admits: “Actually, I am a bit gay.”
  • Eve gropes Jesus in a manner too indecent to describe while the Annunciation is described as a rape.
  • God is a fat man in a white suit who complains about being blamed for everyone’s problems. He invites Jerry Springer to join Him to “sit in Heaven beside me, hold my hand and guide me.” At the end, Jerry emerges as the true savior of mankind.

The “opera” has earned its blasphemous reputation. In London, the debut was the subject of a libel suit for defaming Christians. When it was to be aired on the BBC, it drew more than 60,000 complaints.

As Catholics, you and I cannot accept such insults to Our Lord and the Catholic Faith! That’s why I ask you to please send a protest message via email to the Chance Theater today.
For the love of Our Lord and the Catholic Church, please send your message today, and consider forwarding this email to all the Catholics you know.

Who Will Declare the Party's Over?

Written by John Horvat II

Who_Will_Declare_the_Party___s_Over.jpg
The continuing debate over the debt ceiling and the general state of the economy raises matters of such a magnitude that we tend to be overwhelmed and confused. Perhaps the best way to address these issues is to leave the almost surreal world of multi-trillion dollar liabilities and come down to earth with some basic observations.

There is obviously something seriously wrong going on here. Everyone knows we cannot live beyond our means. That is elementary economics. The real question is not how we can continue overspending but rather why we insist upon doing so. This is not an economic problem but a moral one that lies deep inside the soul of the nation.

As I see it, the life of our nation has increasingly taken on the atmosphere of a huge party. Everyone wants to keep participating in the festivities. As a result, we have created a kind of unreal carnival-like atmosphere where we ignore aspects of reality.

Parties, of course, are by their very nature extraordinary events bordering on fantasy. They are times when we can take a break from the hard reality of making a living and indulge in celebration. Thus, the wine and food flow in quantities outside the normal rate of consumption. People dress up (or used to dress up) in the best outfits as a manifestation of celebration and social posturing. The revelry goes on late into the night as people let go of their concerns at least for a small time while everyone takes comfort in knowing that the host is picking up the tab.

However, our great American party is different. It began as occasional celebrations to celebrate our achievements. But over the decades, the party has gradually taken on the character not of an exceptional event but the norm. It has almost become an entitlement where everyone claims their right to continual festivities – their right to be always happy. This attitude is found not just in government but everywhere as it has increasingly pervaded our culture and habits.

In our ongoing American party, there is an attitude of carefree consumption where we have the idea that the food and wine will flow forever. There is the idea that no one can suffer any want or privation but rather all must proclaim: I must have it and have it now! It is an atmosphere of casual relationships where if you are dancing with a partner for too long you can always change for another and dance as long as the band keeps playing.

Our partying society excels most in its entertainment. Everything must be enveloped in party fun and laughter. Entertainment has come to invade all aspects of our life so that we now have entertainment-news, entertainment-politics, entertainment-advertising and entertainment-everything. We are surrounded by dazzling spectacle, salacious scandal and flashy gadgetry to amuse us. There is always one more joke or one more extravaganza to keep the show going.

This seems to be the atmosphere in which we live. Life is a party, a carnival, a beach or a Hollywood movie. We are told to maximize our experience of fun while we can.
However, there are two tragic aspects of our American party that are killjoys to this vision of things.

The first is the fact that a party can only exist in an ambiance where we are all enjoying ourselves. We must show no concerns, sufferings or cares to others lest we spoil the party. While such an attitude may hide our hardships, it does not eliminate them. Thus, it creates the enormous suffering of pretending we are not suffering. Inside our lives, tragedy strikes us and yet all the while, we must put on the show that we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves.

The second tragic aspect is that someone must pick up the tab. The party thrives on the appearance of limitless consumption and largesse. To keep the excitement going, the party needs constant infusions of novelty, thrills and money. In the exhilaration of the moment, we defer any idea of expense for the morning after.

Our never-ending party never addresses the morning after. As long as the party keeps going on, it really doesn’t matter who will eventually have to pay – the government, our credit cards, second mortgages or any other financial magic that postpones the day of reckoning.

The problem is the day of reckoning is approaching. Just as any individual cannot afford to host a non-stop party, we can no longer sustain our party economy.

We cannot afford the American party anymore. More importantly, we ourselves cannot keep partying indefinitely. We reach a point of exhaustion that comes from the fact that even the best of parties can only last so long, after which there enters fatigue, rowdiness, boredom and frustration. The problem is no one dares to break the consensus and suggest that perhaps the party should not go on.

In fact, just the opposite is happening. The solutions being proposed do not address this problem. Everyone is looking for ways to prolong the party.

The liberals on the left, in socialist fashion, call for bringing the chic partiers upstairs down to the common dance floor. The conservatives, in Gospel wedding fashion, announce the time has come to start serving everyone the inferior wine. No one dares to declare the party’s over.

However, that is what we need to do. We need to face the fact that we cannot sustain this artificial environment of happiness entitlement. We must calmly face the reality of life’s sufferings, tragedies and misfortunes outside the din of the party. We must avoid dramatic or instant push button solutions that themselves take on the appearance of the great shows of the party. It will take much blood, sweat and tears to put the house back in order.

We realize these considerations do not directly address the deficit or the state of our economy but they do point in the direction of a solution. We are not saying it will be easy. All we are saying is that the first step to a solution is to declare the party is over.

VIDEO: What New Yorkers Really Think about Same-Sex “Marriage”

You won’t find this type of candid footage on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC or even Fox News, but it shows you what the liberal media would like to hide: New Yorkers do not want the sacred institution of marriage -- ordained by God -- redefined, tampered or destroyed.

Protest Irish University Non-stop Blasphemy!

Irish_University_Hosts_Non_stop_Blasphemy_.jpg
In our globalized world, blasphemy can cross the oceans and airwaves with more ease than in previous ages. And that is now the case with the blasphemous art exhibit "Our Lady and Other Queer Santas," by the self-avowed lesbian Alma Lopez, which will be on display at the University College Cork and is open to the general public.
As you know, the digital photo collage ‘Our Lady’ shows Our Lady of Guadalupe in a floral bikini, hands on hips, held up by a bare breasted angel. Shocking!!!
On June 24th, the University College Cork (Ireland) is hosting the blasphemous art exhibit "Our Lady and Other Queer Santas" as part of a conference on Hispanic Studies.
Tell the University College Cork (Ireland) how shocked you are by this.
At the same conference on Hispanic Studies, Alma Lopez will talk about "Our Lady and Other Queer Santas.
She will also sign copies of her blasphemous book called “Our Lady of Controversy: Alma Lopez's ‘Irreverent’ Apparition,” which has that same blasphemous and impure collage of Our Lady of Guadalupe on its cover.

The offenses against the Blessed Virgin Mary’s purity seem endless and in response, you and I must console Our Lady by offering Her our fervent prayers and most heartfelt acts of reparation.
